The Web Site is just one step in the creation of a well-designed Web Solution. A 'Web Solution' is a customized

Firstly, a studio representative will meet with the client to discuss the history, current status and goals of
the company in general. They will review and analyse the existing web site, its design and layout, and it's
current search engine rankings. Then discussions can begin on the goals of the new online project.
We then submit a Site Proposal to the client, which is reviewed and revised until an appropriate design is
agreed upon.
Once the client approves the design project, Darkhand Design begins the web design project by requesting all
content needed for the project from the client, such as images in digital format.
Our design team will present the client with a visual preview of the homepage. At this point, fine detail can
be approved or re-designed until a final agreement is made for the whole site to be developed.
With the homepage approved, the design of the Web Site begins with HTML coding of the site templates, followed
by insertion of any internet technologies required e.g. Flash or Streaming Audio/Video etc…
After the design and development work is complete, the package is passed on to our in-house quality assurance
(QA) team who check every aspect of the Web Site including colour compatibility, active link checking and
integrated technology testing. Once and bugs or discrepancies are eliminated, the Web Site will be uploaded to
a test server where the client will be able to give final approval to it's appearance and functionality.
The final step in the process is to move the entire Web Solution to the live servers and publish the work on the
World Wide Web. At this point, your new Web Site is active and can be viewed by anyone online.
